Guided Walk with Conservationists from Environment Oregon and Oregon State Parks at Shore Acres State Park

Meet at the observation building at Shore Acres.

Join Environment Oregon’s Conservation Advocate Justin Boyles and Oregon Parks & Recreation Department’s Lee Ricci for a guided walk at Shore Acres State Park. Perched on sandstone cliffs above the Pacific, Shore Acres is unlike any other park in Oregon — combining dramatic coastal views, lush formal gardens, and incredible opportunities for wildlife watching.

As we walk the bluff trail, we’ll explore what makes Shore Acres such a standout part of Oregon’s state park system: from its history as a grand coastal estate, to its sweeping gardens, to its vantage points for spotting seals, sea lions and even migrating whales. Along the way, we’ll connect these features to the larger story of Oregon’s parks and their importance for conservation and community.

This event is free (except for parking pass) and open to the public, and welcoming to all ages and experience levels.
