Is your political party perfect? Become a precinct committee person and make it better! A Precinct Committee Person (PCP) is a voting member of your political party’s local central committee (only Democratic or Republican), elected to represent a specific neighborhood precinct. Being a PCP is less about taking on a big “job” and more about having a seat at the table: PCPs vote on key party decisions like endorsements, leadership, and party priorities, and they help ensure our county party reflects the people and communities it represents. When more PCP seats are filled, the party is more representative, more accountable, and better prepared to support good candidates and protect our values in local elections.
