# NBFD Christmas Tree Pickup – Saturday, January 3, 2026
North Bend Firefighters will once again be out collecting discarded Christmas trees this Saturday, January 3rd, continuing a long-standing tradition that helps keep our community safe while supporting local families in need.
& How it works:
- Place your undecorated Christmas tree curbside the night before pickup.
- Firefighters will leave a self-addressed donation envelope at your door.
- A minimum suggested donation of $10 per tree is appreciated.
- All proceeds go directly to the North Bend Volunteer Firefighters Association “Kids for Christmas” program, which provides food and gifts to families who need extra support during the holidays.
- Missed the pickup?
No problem – call Assistant Chief Brian Waddington at (541) 756-8181 to schedule a tree removal.
You can also drop off your tree anytime in the northwest corner of the NBFD parking lot (1880 McPherson Street, across from the Post Office).
