The Coos County Historical Society invites the community to raise a stein in support of local history during the Third Annual Oktoberfest at the Coos History Museum on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Now in its third year, Oktoberfest has become one of the museum’s signature fundraising events. Building on the success of previous years, this year’s celebration keeps favorite traditions while introducing new improvements to create an even better experience for guests.
Attendees can enjoy German food, brews, live music by the Roseburg German Band, games, contests, a silent auction, a cakewalk, and more—all while helping preserve and share the history of Oregon’s South Coast.
“We’ve listened to our guests each year and made thoughtful improvements to make the event even more enjoyable,” said Heather Christenbury, Executive Director of the Coos History Museum. “Whether you’ve attended before or are joining us for the first time, Oktoberfest is a fun way to support the museum while spending an afternoon with friends, great food, and live entertainment.”
Proceeds from Oktoberfest directly support the Coos History Museum’s exhibits, educational programs, collections care, and community outreach.
Tickets ($50 and up) go on sale August 1. Get your tickets early to avoid the line at the door on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased online at cooshistory.org, by phone at 541-756-6320, or in person at the Coos History Museum.
