Food is given away most Thursdays, but call 541-756 -6696 to hear an outgoing message (only) confirming that week’s giveaway. They need volunteers too — show up at 8 am.
Held in the south parking lot behind the Pony Village Mall (near the theater).
No we cannot deliver boxes of food to you and no we cannot hold anything for you to show up later! If you can’t make it when we are there then you will need to find someone else that can be there to pick up for you. One order per car.
Per our Insurance agent NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO WALK THROUGH THE-LINE. Per Laurel the food do not magically appear the crew put in100 s of man hours behind the scenes ,and we have a fabulous crew and want to keep the workers because without them we would not be able to provide for any one.
No food will be handed to anyone in the car, You have to have space for the food in the back and open access without personal contact, we need the trunk lifted up or the tail gate dropped down, so we have plenty of free space nothing will be placed inside the car itself.
Please keep the lines moving while keeping cars spaced. No Animals in the cars
If any one has cans they would like to donate please bring them and you will be advised where they will go. We cash in the cans and use the money to help cover the cost of freight. Please share this information with everyone you know that may be interested in free food.
