Hey fellow Vanagon peeps! I am the sales director at a 70 apartment assisted living and memory care in Coos Bay, Oregon. My residents here at Bayside Terrace Assisted Living & Memory Care absolutely love seeing my Vanagon when I drive it to work. We even use the van for our local Coos Bay farmers market booth, where we sell jams that we make here at the community. We are known as the Sticky Spoon Jammers.
We are planning our first annual Vanagon show and shine at our building for our residents to enjoy! We would love for you to join us with your van!
A lot of our residents have had Volkswagens over the years and have great stories to tell. We will be providing food, refreshments, and some live entertainment. We will be clearing the entire parking lot for the show and would love it for people to set up their pop-ups and awnings to chill for a couple of hours.
The drive to Coos Bay is epic and September is beautiful here. We would love to get at least 20 vans. Anyone interested? You would sure make our residents day! And really, any old VW would be amazing! Bugs, Karman ghias, busses. We love them all, right?
