The Coos History Museum invites the public to our October First Tuesday Talk on Tuesday, October 6th, from 6:00-7:00 p.m., featuring local bar pilot Captain Steven Woods. Captain Woods was a bar pilot in Coos Bay for 40 years, and in his presentation, he will share captivating sea stories and historic photographs from the Coos Bay bar, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most challenging waterways. It will be a unique opportunity to learn about the history of the Coos Bay Pilots and hear firsthand accounts from a veteran pilot with decades of experience.
This program will be hosted in-person at the Coos History Museum, with an admission price of $7 for non-members and FREE for CHM members.
