This Sunday, May 24th, we’re tapping the 2025 South Slough Spruce Ale, and we want you here!
Starting at 5 PM, come meet the folks from South Slough Reserve and Friends of South Slough, chat with our brew crew, and grab some free samples. Tiller of the Moon kicks off at 6 PM with music from his album “Wasson,” inspired by the beauty and conservation work happening right in our backyard.
The South Slough Spruce is one of our favorite beers to make. Every spring, volunteers from Friends of South Slough hand-pick Sitka spruce tips along the coast. Those tips go straight into the brew in place of hops, giving the ale its bright, zingy, refreshing character. 10% of gross sales go back to Friends of South Slough to support their education and stewardship work.
